Now researchers may have found a promising new approach. A team that includes scientists from Texas A&M University has developed an injection that helps the body produce a protective hormone that supports heart recovery.

Giuliana Noratto, an associate research scientist in Texas A&M's Department of Food Science and Technology, stressed the significance of researching both tumor growth and the spread of the disease.

Chickpeas of a variety called "Myles" were raised in a climate-controlled growth chamber at Texas A&M University. Seeds were coated with beneficial fungi and planted in a mix of the simulated lunar soil, made by Florida-based company Space Resource Technologies, and a nutrient-rich substance called vermicompost produced when earthworms break down organic waste.

Oil markets reacted immediately. Raymond Robertson, an economist with Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government and Public Service, said U.S. oil prices jumped 7.5% on day one, with European prices climbing even higher. “Gas prices don’t jump right away, but they do start climbing in about a week or two after the shock,” Robertson said. “If the conflict continues, we might start to see increases at the pump.”

As public policy researchers who study legal defense issues, we believe it’s clear that such shortages have repercussions throughout the criminal justice system.

Economic expert Raymond Robertson, the director of Mosbacher Institute of Trade, Economics and Public Policy at Texas A&M University, cited the widespread harm the tariffs have caused across industries as the reason for the lawsuits. “It’s everybody. It’s not just one sector. They’re widespread,” Robertson told Austin American-Statesman last month. “It’s incredibly widespread. And it’s really unprecedented in scope. But if you’re going to put on tariffs, just tell us and we can deal with that. But the uncertainty is much worse than the tariffs themselves.”

The annual event, which is free and open to anyone, featured performances by the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band and student dance groups, along with academic program presentations and residence hall tours — putting everything on display for potential students to experience.

“Severe blood loss can rapidly lead to hemorrhagic shock,” says Akhilesh Gaharwar, a biomedical engineering professor at Texas A&M University. “Many patients die within one to two hours of injury. This critical period is often referred to as the ‘golden hour.'”
