Aggie Women, a constituent network of The Association of Former Students, is celebrating 10 years of service to promote the active engagement of women in the educational, charitable, and cultural life of Texas A&M University with a reception at the Bryan location of Messina Hof Winery & Resort.
The 10th Anniversary reception will be Thursday, Sept. 7 beginning at 5:45 p.m. and will include featured guests and speakers who were instrumental in the organization’s past as well as current Aggie women leaders on the Texas A&M campus.
Student speakers will be: Class of 2019 President Amy Sharp; Deputy Corps Commander Sara Wojcak; and Speaker of the Student Senate Jasmine Wang.
The Aggie Women Network connects former students, current students, and the Aggie family through networking and mentoring events; supports students through two Presidential Endowed Scholarships; provides speakers through the Aggie Experts program; and sponsors a conference each year.
The event, presented by the Aggie Women Network and Texas A&M University’s Women’s Resource Center, is free and open to the public, but reservations are necessary as space is limited.
