International Women’s Day Conference March 6
The conference is presented by the American Association of University Women at Texas A&M.
The 2019 International Women’s Day: Balance For Better Conference at Texas A&M University is set for Wednesday, March 6 from 4:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center’s Bethancourt Ballroom.
The conference presented by the American Association of University Women at Texas A&M (AAUW-TAMU), along with Feminism 4 Aggies and the Women’s Resource Center (WRC), features performances, presentations, small group discussions and a catered meal.
AAUW-TAMU and WRC brought International Women’s Day programming to Texas A&M in 2012 with the goal of recognizing “the diverse nature of the Aggie family and the importance of global leadership” and “raising awareness of global women’s issues.”
