Stetson And Texas A&M Partner To Launch College-Branded, Western-Inspired Hat Collection

Aggies become the first to have university-branded hats from the iconic company.

Texas A&M University has partneed with Stetson to launch A&M-branded Western headwear. Fans can grab their custom hats at the Texas A&M University Bookstore in the Memorial Student Center.

Texas A&M University, an iconic brand and one of America’s most innovative companies according to Fast Company magazine, is the first university in the nation to partner with Stetson, the legendary hat company, to offer A&M-branded merchandise.

The partnership launches at the Aggies’ football home opener on Aug. 30. The university will host a hat branding station and activations for guests, as well as other promotional activities. Stetson hats will be available for fans at the Texas A&M University Bookstore.

“Texas A&M and Stetson are two iconic brands that stand for legacy, leadership and the courage to forge your own path,” said Shane Hinckley, university chief business development officer. “This partnership isn’t just about style, it’s about spirit. It’s about honoring the grit of the frontier and the determination of every Aggie who dares to lead. It speaks to the core of the Aggie Spirit: visionary, bold and enduring.”

Stetson will partner with only six other universities throughout the season in partnership with CLC, the nation’s leading collegiate brand licensing agency.

Stetson, known for its high-quality, Western-inspired headwear that has become a pop-culture must-have for fashion-forward individuals and celebrities alike, worked in collaboration with leading collegiate licensee L2 Brands to bring the hats to market. Each hat is uniquely designed for the participating universities and will feature branding of the school, tastefully integrated into the hat band.

Stetson’s Aggie collegiate hats are exclusively available at The Texas A&M University Bookstore, located in the Memorial Student Center.
