Association of Former Students Distinguished Achievement Award Recipients Named

The third-generation Aggie was an academic mentor and university advocate who "gave her all" to The Association.
Thousands of Aggies and their families will attend over 15 reunions this fall and spring.
All three recipients are being honored posthumously.
The honor from recognizes 12 former students who have graduated in the past 12 years for demonstrating excellence in business and service, while representing Texas A&M’s core values.
Since the inception of the award in 1962, only 303 of Texas A&M’s 527,000 former students have been recognized with the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
The Aggie Pride LGBTQ Network is the 12th Constituent Network to be chartered by The Association of Former Students.
