Her time as the first woman to serve as Reveille’s handler will come to an end this week, but that’s not the end of Mia Miller's story.

Reveille VIII was be buried alongside the previous seven Reveille mascots in Kyle Field Plaza in a special burial plot on the north side of the stadium

Texas A&M’s mascot-to-be will be formally named Reveille IX at the Corps of Cadets “Final Review,” the May 9 ceremony held in conjunction with the university’s spring commencement ceremonies.

Reveille VIII will formally retire following Final Review at the conclusion of the spring 2015 semester or upon selection of her successor.
