Aggie Team Takes First Place At Intercollegiate A Cappella Competition

Swaram, a student organization dedicated to promoting the art of a cappella music through the fusion of South Asian and Western cultural influences, brought home 1st place at Anahat 2016.

Additionally, Swaram won “Best Female Vocalist” (Akshara Parashar), “Best Choreography” (Keith Owen), “Best Musical Arrangement” (Sarosh Mawani), and an invite to All American Awaaz, the first ever South Asian A Cappella Championship.
