The Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference (SBSLC) will celebrate a major milestone as one of the country’s largest student-run collegiate leadership events this weekend when students from around the country gather for its 30th annual meeting at Texas A&M University.

5. Division Of IT Names Michael Sardaryzadeh Associate VP For Cybersecurity

Dr. Michael A. Sardaryzadeh has been named Associate Vice President for Cybersecurity, Policy and Compliance and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Texas A&M University. Following a national search, he was selected from nearly a hundred applicants and will assume his new duties on Feb. 5.
