‘Horror Noire’ Slated For Two Local Screenings
Fans of the documentary based on the book by Texas A&M Diversity VP Robin R. Means Coleman can catch a screening at the Queen Theatre Feb. 13 or on campus Feb. 17.
Horror fans in the Texas A&M University and Bryan-College Station communities will be able to view two local screenings of “Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror,” a documentary based on a book by Texas A&M Vice President and Associate Provost for Diversity Dr. Robin R. Means Coleman.

The screening Wednesday at the Queen Theatre includes a Q&A session with Coleman facilitated by Texas A&M film studies professor Dan Humphrey and a double feature with “Tales from the Hood” starting at 6 p.m. The event is presented by The Queen’s Film Society and co-sponsored by the Film Studies and Africana Studies departments at Texas A&M.
“Horror Noire” which Coleman executive produced and appears in, debuted Feb. 7 on horror, thriller and supernatural film streaming service Shudder and features commentary from “Get Out” writer and director Jordan Peele.
