Texas A&M University’s largest campus-wide open house, Aggieland Saturday, returns on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. This free event invites prospective students, families, school groups and anyone interested in a full-day celebration of the Aggie experience. With a robust selection of activities, including information sessions, campus tours, performances and interactive demonstrations, Aggieland Saturday provides an immersive introduction to life at Texas A&M. Registration is required to attend.

A popular activity for first-time campus visitors is the Aggieland Saturday kickoff at 9 a.m. This traditions-rich session in Rudder Auditorium includes Texas A&M Interim President Tommy Williams, mascot Reveille X and the Yell Leaders for a Fightin’ Texas Aggie Yell Practice. Other tours, college overview sessions and more events also begin at 9 a.m., with the day’s programming concluding by 4 p.m. Attendees can explore sessions across campus to learn about admissions, housing, financial aid, scholarships and more. Hundreds of faculty, staff and students will be on hand to guide visitors, answer questions and showcase the many opportunities available at Texas A&M.

Aggieland Saturday features many academic programs, including a college fair in Rudder Exhibit Hall, where prospective students can explore many majors and programs in one central location. Prospective students who know what they plan to study are encouraged to check out programming in their future colleges or schools. Free bus transportation is available throughout the day.

Attendees won’t want to miss renowned physics professor Dr. Tatiana Erukhimova’s science demonstrations in the Innovative Learning Classroom Building. Other open house favorites include the Corps of Cadets marches, Chemistry Road Show and live performances by the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. Younger students in grades 7-10 can enjoy programming tailored specifically for their age group offered in partnership with LevelUp Texas.

To make the most of their visit, attendees can use the Guidebook app to build personalized schedules featuring themed tracks focused on academic programs, student interests, current grade level, or by campus location. The Appelt Aggieland Visitor Center and its Howdy Crew will also offer 45-minute campus tours departing every 5-10 minutes until 2 p.m., with no reservations required.

Organizers recommend reviewing the schedule in advance and mapping out your day to maximize the experience. Aggieland Saturday continues to be Texas A&M’s largest recruitment event, drawing thousands of future Aggies and their families eager to experience the Aggie Spirit firsthand.
