Family Weekend 2026 celebrates Aggie traditions, spirit and student life
Texas A&M University welcomes families to campus for a full slate of events April 10–12.
The Texas A&M University campus community is gearing up to welcome families and friends during Family Weekend 2026, April 10-12. With over 40 events taking place throughout the Aggieland community highlighting traditions, student organizations, athletics and the local community, there is something for everyone.
This weekend is a time for students to celebrate their family’s role in their college journey and share their experiences in Aggieland.
“Family Weekend gives students and their families a chance to share in Aggie traditions and explore the Texas A&M campus together,” said Alex Hersperger, coordinator of family programs for Student Life’s New Student and Family Programs office.
The Student Life department, housed in the Division of Student Affairs, coordinates Family Weekend. The office also hosts several events throughout the weekend, including the Student Life Open House, Family Weekend Brunch and Dueling Pianos.
The Aggie Parent and Family Ambassadors, a recognized student organization within the department, will host a Welcome Wagon on campus Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to greet Aggies and their families. They will hand out schedules, Family Weekend swag items and other goodies.

The weekend festivities kick off with Ring Day on Thursday and Friday. The Aggie Moms’ Boutique, a Family Weekend staple, will be set up on the second floor of the Memorial Student Center (MSC) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Friday’s schedule also includes the Family Weekend Concert in Aggie Park from 7 to 9 p.m. Student Life and MSC Town Hall are partnering for an evening of live music, games for the whole family, food and an appearance by the Texas A&M Yell Leaders.
Saturday, April 11, will feature events around the Bryan-College Station community. Local farmers and artisans will set up at the Midtown Park Farmers’ Market, and The Warehouse at C.C. Creations will host its annual Hullabaloo at Holleman, both starting at 8 a.m.
Also on Saturday, the Singing Cadets will perform at 7 p.m. in Rudder Auditorium. The concert marks the group’s return home after a year of touring, including international performances in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Japan, as well as tours across Texas. Tickets are available for purchase through the Texas A&M Box Office at boxoffice.tamu.edu.
Family Weekend is also an opportunity to support Texas A&M athletes. The Aggies will compete at the Track & Field 44 Farms Invitational and the Aggie baseball team will host the University of Texas at Olsen Field. For times and tickets, visit the 12th Man Foundation.
Student Life will host a Family Weekend Watch Party in Aggie Park to cheer on the Aggies. There will be ballpark bites and plenty of yard games, with the game on the big screen. Family Weekend Watch Party is a public, come-and-go event; registration is free, but not required.
The Corps of Cadets will also host events throughout Family Weekend, starting with Family Review and Unit Awards on Friday. Saturday events include the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band Awards, Fish Drill Team Demonstration and the Parsons Mounted Cavalry Family Weekend Review.
