The country music stars, both Texas A&M graduates, performed as part of the 41@100 celebration in honor of President George H.W. Bush.

Festivities at the Presidential Library and Museum included new exhibits, parachute jumps by Bush family members and personal stories from the late president’s grandchildren.

A series of events at Texas A&M June 11-13 includes the opening of the Marine One/4141 Locomotive Pavilion and performances by Robert Earl Keen and Lyle Lovett.

The helicopter used by President George H.W. Bush was trucked to College Station this week and placed within a 29,000-square-foot facility opening this summer.

Part of a $50 million campaign, the new facility will house a retired Marine One helicopter and Union Pacific 4141.
