Ten Texas A&M University faculty members have been recognized with the annual award for their passion and early success in teaching.

Faculty from six colleges and schools will hold the award title for life and receive a stipend to support enhanced learning.

The award is given annually to 10 assistant professors based on their early success in and passion for teaching undergraduate students.

College of Arts and Sciences faculty are working collaboratively with colleagues across the state to improve introductory courses.

The award is named in honor of Kenneth Montague '37 and is given annually to tenure-track assistant professors for early success in teaching undergraduate students.

Texas A&M's Center for Teaching Excellence recognized newly credentialed faculty at a ceremony this month.

Recipients of this award will receive $5,000 to support teaching innovations and teaching-related projects and activities.

The Montague-CTE Scholars Award is named in honor of Kenneth Montague ’37.

The center has honored teaching excellence for 30 years.

Texas A&M hosted educators from across the state who work to help international grad students, for whom English is not their primary language, to be teaching assistants.
