Journalist Craig Garnett, who covered the event locally as it unfolded, is donating his royalties to the Robb School Memorial Fund.

Established in 1974 by Texas A&M President Jack K. Williams, the press has published nearly 2,000 peer-reviewed books during its first half-century of operation.

The paintings of Schiwetz, a distinguished alumnus of Texas A&M, will be on display through Dec. 16 with a talk and reception on Sept. 28.
