The Texas A&M Staff Appreciation Committee announced its lineup of events for April 22-27.
Monday, April 22
President’s Meritorious Service Award Ceremony*
MSC, Bethancourt Ballroom | Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. | Reception: 11:30 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.
President Young will recognize 25 outstanding individuals, two outstanding teams and two supervisor for their meritorious service to the University.
Tuesday, April 23
Wellness Walk*
Walk: 3:00 p.m. | Rally: 3:30 p.m.
On Campus Walk, East Campus meets West Campus. Wear maroon and/or white workout gear (t-shirts) and gather coworkers on a quick walk to the Kyle Field Plaza for a fun rally.

Wednesday, April 24
Department Appreciation Day*
In your Department | All Day
Departments are encouraged to celebrate staff with unit-hosted events.
Thursday, April 25
Active for Life Health & Wellness Conference*
A&M Hotel & Conference Center | 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
An interactive conference focusing on health and wellness. Will be held at the new Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center.
Friday, April 26
Community Discount Day*
Throughout our Bryan-College Station community | All Day
Campus businesses and BCS Chamber of Commerce businesses will offer special discounts to staff who show their university ID card when visiting specific businesses on this one day. Many discounts are valid all week! Look for the Texas A&M Softball and Baseball A&M Faculty/Staff Appreciation Days*.
Saturday, April 27
Staff Photo Day*
Across Campus | 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Staff and their families are invited to have complimentary, professional photographs taken at iconic locations on campus.
- Also on Saturday: Texas A&M Softball A&M Staff Appreciation Day – 8:00p.m.*
SAW 2019 events and activities are open to staff from Texas A&M University, A&M System Office, A&M System agencies and affiliates, as well as Chartwells and SSC Services for Education.
SAW events/activities are considered University business. Staff should not be required to take time off* to attend.
