Biden Drops Out Of 2024 Race: Experts Available For Comment
Texas A&M experts in political science and rhetoric are available to discuss President Joe Biden’s decision to end his reelection campaign.

President Joe Biden has withdrawn from the 2024 presidential race, ending his bid for reelection. He has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to succeed him as the Democratic presidential candidate.
Following President Joe Biden’s Sunday announcement that he is pulling out of the 2024 race for the White House, experts from Texas A&M University are available to discuss Biden’s decision to step aside and his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for president.

“A week ago, the presidential race looked settled, but in politics, a week can be a lifetime,” Goidel said. “Biden’s decision to step aside puts everything back into play, but there are no guarantees here. A new, younger candidate may capitalize on widespread dissatisfaction with the two oldest president candidates in American history, or we may quickly return to the same storyline of a surging Trump against a Democratic Party in disarray.
“The only thing we know for sure is that with four months left to go, there are likely more twists and turns to this campaign,” he said.
