Law Students Win Quiz Bowl

In their first year to participate in the 2016 American Agricultural Law Association Quiz Bowl competition, Texas A&M University School of Law earned top honors.

Elizabeth Anderson won Best Direct Examination at the Lone Star Classic Mock Trial Competition in San Antonio.

Texas A&M School of Law 3L Cielo Fortin-Camacho received third place in the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law’s 2016 Student Writing Competition with her article, “Red-Handed Without a Defense: Limiting the Risk of Forfeiture When Leasing to Lawful Marijuana Tenants.”

Apprenticeship network will revamp the traditional first year after law school.

Aggies at the School of Law in Fort Worth graduated last week and according to school officials, the class stands out as one of the most accomplished in the law school’s history.

The Veterans Project enables the clinic to represent qualifying low-income veterans in family law cases, Social Security disability cases and veterans disability benefits.

Thirty-eight Texas A&M University School of Law students received their Juris Doctor degree at the Fall Hooding and Commencement ceremony.

Six Aggie Law students will participate in the school’s new Residency Externship Program in Washington, D.C. in January.
