More than 240 teams from schools across the country participated in the event, which tasked student programmers with developing innovative software.

Texas A&M researchers, along with computer scientists at Intel Labs, have designed a tool to identify the source of errors caused by software updates.

The first-of-its kind, 30-hour event will have 450 student participants from around the world.
