The Sept. 13-14 festival highlights the variety of modern and contemporary dance.

Students to present narrative of sacrifice and resilience in free campus performances on May 4.

The free event in honor of Black History Month will feature an installation of about 60 artists with archived video footage and an interactive timeline.

Everyone is invited to enjoy traditional Hispanic dishes as well as a performance from Ballet Folklorico Celestial.

The School of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts’ dance program hosts the annual event that also stars Texas A&M students. 

The event will be an introduction for community members to the School of Performance, Visual and Fine Arts.

Members of the student organization say they hope their performances further understanding and appreciation of Hispanic culture and traditions.

The team is competing at its first national competition in 20 years.
